Wynyard is a rural, well-spread area with some of the most beautiful countryside in Teesside on its doorstep. Wynyard Woodland Park is a favourite — ancient woodland, quiet trails and a naturally calm environment that is excellent for dogs who get easily overwhelmed in busy town parks. The surrounding farmland and footpaths give plenty of space for off-lead work once a reliable recall is in place, and the quieter roads and country lanes make lead walking practice more manageable than a town environment.

Wynyard also has a notably higher proportion of large and powerful breeds than most parts of Teesside. Cane Corsos, Mastiffs, Rottweilers and similar breeds are regularly seen on the Woodland Park trails and local paths. Damian has specialist experience with these breeds — he understands their temperament, their specific training needs and the common mistakes owners of large breeds tend to make. If your large breed is pulling, reactive, difficult around visitors or has guarding tendencies, Damian can build a practical, patient plan.

Sessions in Wynyard are available at your home or at a location agreed together. Damian is based in Middlesbrough TS4, roughly 25 minutes away, and covers the Wynyard area for one-to-one behaviour training, puppy training and specialist large breed work. Board and train at £75 per day is particularly popular with Wynyard clients — your dog stays with Damian for intensive daily training and comes back noticeably calmer and more responsive.
